About Us

My name is Antavious Ashe (He/Him/His). My hometown is Henderson, NC (~45 minutes north of Durham) and I am an NCSSM graduate (Class of 2010). I attended UNC-Chapel Hill, graduating in 2015 with a BS in Psychology and BA in Political Science. I most recently received a JD from Drake University in 2018-- a very long time ago.  

I began as a Community Coordinator in March 2022. A few clubs I'm involved in are the Smash Club (we play a lot of Super Smash Bros on hall) and the Spades Club. However, beyond the club interactions, I've come to really find value in the more informal interactions with students. I understand how important life/activities outside of the classroom are and how formative they can be to the NCSSM experience. I hope the rapport I build during these interactions this school year make students feel comfortable with approaching me with any issues and/or questions.

My passions are writing/poetry, NBA Basketball, and staying up on current issues. A few of our activities that I’ll lead this year may fall along those lines. We will also have many more activities planned by the RLAs on hall.

Hello! I’m Aslan (He/Him) from Asheville, NC. I’m going to be an RLA for Second Hill during the 2026-2027 school year. I love to get exercise, be outside, and be make things with my hands. I’m super excited to spend time with my fellow Hillians and kick off the school year. If you ever need anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Sup guys, Novian here! I'm from Winston-Salem, NC, and I love playing basketball, golf, and working out. As an RLA for 2nd Hill this year, I'm really excited to get the school year going & meet my new juniors 😎

Hola! (That’s Spanish for “hello”) I’m Micah (he/him) from Roxboro, NC, and I’ll also be an RLA on Second Hill during the 2026–2027 school year. I love long walks on the beach, video games, listening to music, and all things Pibble. I’m super approachable, and I PROMISE I don’t bite, so please feel free to ask me anything!
